Actually, it is because Sega kind of sucks now (outside of things like that Daytona USA HD and Sonic CD ports; I also played some Sonic Generations with Steve and Ally this weekend, that was fun too). The Dreamcast was Sega’s true last gasp.

NiGHTS into Dreams - “Message from Nightopia”

I like the Panzer Dragoon-esque samples.

One of my favorite videogame soundtracks ever. The music for the snow level and the Soft Museum were fantastic, too. I miss golden-age Sega so much. The Wii sequel to NiGHTS was awful. :( I sunk a lot of hours into the original, though. Brilliant game.
