I saw The Incredibles on Saturday! I think that it’s my favorite Pixar film (the only ones I have yet to see are Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc., A Bug’s Life,and Cars). Not only is the film itself delightful, but Brad Bird has this sense of fluidity to his action sequences—this definitely shares some cinematic DNA with Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, which is still one of the best films of 2011—and there is also a major reference to Die Hard with a Vengeance, one of my favorite films, action or otherwise. The cast is excellent, too.
